Yes. All things considered, temperature, humidity, freshness of paint, wind ( I paint out doors), my attention to what I'm doing, it usually comes out OK.

Krylon, Rustolium and Duplicolor make up the bulk of my spray paint. I'll only use the expensive hobby spray paints when I can't find the right color in one of the above brands.

I guess that's why your screen name is crazymike. :D

(Just a joke. You're to be commended.)

Well, since Krylon paints match the actual paint chips I have on hand for gasoline pumps , yes ! Now to expand upon that, I build models of gas pumps and service stations . I would,t dare just apply a coat of paint toa bare surface without at least a skim coat of primer first ! Thats the same as not bothering to sand yer 1-1 car and just shoot paint on it too. Wanna take side bets on how long it actually stays ? Ed Shaver

I have used Krylon sprays quite a bit lately - picked some up for $4 a can.

Recently, I've used yellow, Pumpkin Orange, Burgundy, Gloss White and semi-gloss black. I agree about the crazing with the semi gloss black, as I had some minor crazing, and after sanding smooth up to 2000 grit, a second coat was fine. Everything else I've used has been great, and have used over different primers with no problems. I like the 360 degree nozzle, too!

I tried Krylon on a model for the first time that I can remember a few months ago when I painted my car hauler (it would've been a million Testors cans,) and except for one spot, where I think I might have stopped momentarily, it came out very well. That one spot? I'll dry-brush some Testors Rust on it and call it road rash.

I used a color called Bahama Sea, which I've only seen at Wal-Mart. it's a pretty blue-green.

I tip my hat to anyone who can spray Krylon and get a nice finish strait out of the can. I tried to use Hunter Green, shot out like a fire hose.

Bought a second can. Same thing.

It is funny- Dave mentioned the semi-gloss black crazing the plastic, but I've never had that problem. I like to use the Rust Tough Krylon- perhaps it's forumulated a bit differently from regular Krylon.

(Note- No, the reason I use Rust Tough is not because I fear my models will rust! I use it because it seems to cover better than regular Krylon- which sometimes seems a bit 'watery'- and because they sell it at work and I can buy it for 20% off!)

I use Krylon cans all the time. I prefer it now. The newer nozzle is nice. Granted I'm in the hotter part of the country so its always warm and normally good to go outside and shoot it. It takes a long time to dry when humid but that goes without saying. The only one I have tried and will not buy again except as a base coat is the chrome. It comes out a bright silver.

I use krylon on most of my builds. I use the metallics as candies, the gloss and simi gloss as bases on my pearl paints, and the clear as a intercoat and to lay a layer of pearl or flake on said gloss or simi gloss paints.I have yet to encounter a problem that the DOT3 tank or the bleach white tank cant fix. Here are some exapmles of krylon paint jobs.

However i do not use krylon clear as a clear coat on any of my builds due to the fact it yellows every paintjobs that are older then 3 months  . Hope this helps bro

I love the Krylon paint. Its all i use... Granted the colors are limited to about 20 or so But building what i build (fire trucks and ambulances) you don't need to many differed colors. Like any paint you use there is a learning curve..... be it a airbrush or testors paint cans.... Krylon Primer is the best i have ever used for resin models... here are a few more examples of Some Krylon paint jobs
