Kodiak Island Modeler Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Does anybody make drums and keyboards in 1/25 scale? I have several guitars, but I would like to make a band (blues, of course) for a diorama.
chopt31 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 A reduced photo of a keyboard could be added to a fairly simple plastruct shape to be convincing. Modeling a set of drums from paper wouldn't be too difficult, depending on the details you added. Shim stock brass could be shaped for cymbals. Stands from plastruct and metal rod and you're set. I know you can buy a large scale set, never run across a 1/25 version, though.
jbwelda Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 seems to me i remember a japanese manufacturer making a 1/24 "rock band" set? sort of an aside but AMT had those muy kool bongo drums for the rear greenhouse. i forget which kit those kame in!

I've seen them in a few different kits. I think my '62 Buick has them. And a few others. Next time I have a chance to do a little poking and if I remember, I'll see what I can find. I could probably be talked into parting with a set if needed- and I can find them. Charlie Larkin
