Mercedes Benz 500 SEC Lorinser FINISHED

Finally finished one. I still have the headlight wipers to put on, but they'll be on tomorrow.

Tamiya Mercedes 500 SEC Lorinser

Painted with Tamiya paints Pearl White w/Pearl Clear and Clear, polished out as well.

Interior is Testors interior tan from the can and Tamiya semi gloss black.

This was built right out of the box with no after-market items. One of my favorite big bodies.

You can see it was in a different photo setting this time. Trying to use a photo booth a friend gave me and fiddle with the camera settings again.

Feels good to get one done.

I think I had this kit too (or actually the base model) but must've traded it for something. :? Tamiya's always build up into nice showpieces!

Hey Tonio! I think I bought this kit from you off of AF!

My first kit from ebay came in a box smaller than normal, and to my dismay it appeared the UPS truck ran it over and I was right. The body and windshield were crushed.

That's when I went asking for one at AF, and I believe it was you that sold me yours. Thank You!
