That's what I'm waiting for haven't started her yet Rodney. soon............. I was thinkin just make a rack to slide them into. I been tryin to figure out how to make a hitch like that since I seen some on Ebay a while back. which hitch? the insert or the actual receiver hitch.
JamesW Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The receiver part. Once that's done the insert should be easy. I'm just not sure what size square tube to use.
Nick Winter Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 The receiver part. Once that's done the insert should be easy. I'm just not sure what size square tube to use. Well soon as I'm done the writing portion, keep an eye for an article in MCM
Jordan White Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The receiver part. Once that's done the insert should be easy. I'm just not sure what size square tube to use. When I built mine, I used I believe 3/8" square tubing with 1/8" thick sheet styrene for the sides.

GTMust Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Hey Nick. Just found the truck section.... I know I should have scrolled down further before, but there's so much to look at in this forum! By the way, this is a sweet truck and I especially like the tow hitch arrangement. Great stuff! Tony
