If that's the Lindberg kit, it's essentially the original Pyro except with chrome-plated parts. Outstanding work, with a 6.0 degree of difficulty.

The color works for me, and I saw a 2-tone red version with red wire wheels. The biggest visual issues with this kit are the windshield frame, which is quite a bit off, the tread plate for entering the car is twice as deep as it should be and the grille doesn't curve quite enough. But this is the best build I've ever seen of this kit.

My biggest question is how did you get the hood to sit properly???

Yes you are right! It is the Lindberg/Pyro kit, but the rims are white metal aftermarket with tires that looks autentic for this car.

There is a lot to wish with the kit (as you all know)but i dident change too many things ,the focus was to make it look nice over all and

with a nice paintjob you are half way.So its not a perfect scalemodel....but its a very satisfactory build.

Here is a link to the build on my swedish forum, if you make av translation on the computer you kan read the lines under the fotos, think there are 5 pages.

Hallo Skip ! The hood was a pain in the a....the constuction give you hope for a hood that opens...BUT it never going to work as it

is, i cut off the left part of the hood so it is very thin,so the right part can slide under the left one when you lift it, even the hinges that hold the right side must be adjusted to make it work.I cant describe all the  words i used when this job was done  Torgny

Torgny, I have NEVER,EVER seen this kit built to THIS degree of detail!!! You did a KILLER job on this!!! You, SIR, are TALENTED!!!! GREAT job, definately NOT a kit for a beginner, of which you certainly are NOT!!! A VERY nice build up of a not so nice kit!:P:D

Hey Torgny,

Simply beautiful, don't know much about the history of the kit, but I sure know when something looks really good. Very nice, and thanks for posting.
