camarobuilder Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Another thumbs up for Terry and MAS. i just ordered a set of wheels from him a few weeks ago. The wheels arrived in a matter of days after payment was made. Terry, you have great customer service and great products. these are your "Warrior" wheels on the mock up of my 2010 Pro Street Camaro. Steven Zimmerman Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 TK and I go back a long time. He is a stand up guy,and I'm glad to see him taking MAS and making a go of it. MAS fills a BIG gap in the model aftermarket. I've used MAS 'stuff' on every model i've built for the last 16 years. MAS trim rings (IMHO) are the best on the market.I'm probably one of the few people on this forum that know what 'fotk' means (GRIN).......theZman
DWR Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 This was my first experience dealing with Terry, communication was fantastic and you can add me to the list of happy customers.
Steven Zimmerman Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Terry was a pretty darned good model builder,in his time(Hint,Hint.....NUDGE NUDGE)....Are ya listenin,TK ?.......the'Z'man

Mooneyzs Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 You are welcome. Terry is a really nice guy to talk to and do business with
58 Impala Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I just made my second purchase from Terry. Nice guy, he responded to my email quickly. I PayPaled him the next day, and he shipped my stuff.(he had what I was looking for in stock.) His stuff is good, I'll buy from him again.
TedsModeling Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Just talked to Terry. He's coming out with a new web site, but is available by email or phone.
aarondupont Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I've been trying his email, but never got an answer from numerous emails. I'm looking forward to his new site! I'd really like to place an order. But I'm not fond of Pay Palling money with no contact first. Aaron Dupont
jbwelda Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 paypal is the absolutely safest way of doing a transaction with an unknown quantity, so i wouldnt worry about that. is there some site that might have illustrations of his parts? any ETA on the new site? ive used up the stock of MAS stuff i have collected over the years and need to replenish. i am glad i saw this thread because it served as a reminder to get on it.
BigEd Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Hey William. No links that I have tried bring up his site, so I have no idea on an ETA. I've tried 2 e-mails but nothin'.
TedsModeling Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 His email is working because he responded to mine. I didn't ask and he didn't say how long before the new site is up. I'll ask him and report back. I have a few of his 1/16 items in stock, but no 1/25 scale.
LoneWolf15 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Met Terry for lunch today , did some catching up as to what's been going on with the respective businesses and to pick up some parts . After a bit of life's derailment , he is in the process of setting up his new shop and looking forward to producing quite a bit of new aluminum turned parts . He is also setting up a new website which should be up and running shortly . The aforementioned contact info is correct if you wish to talk to him . He also stated that he intends to resume vending at the shows , the first being the NNL East in April . It was great to see my friend and know that all is well , even better to know that he's going to continue supplying the hobby with an excellent product !
Prostreet Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 That's great news Don, Terry is a great guy to deall with. Purchased alot of parts off him, excellent quality stuff.. Can't wait to see what new stuff he turns out.
Prostreet Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Looking for some pictures of Machined aluminum specialties prostreet wheels with the phasor2 centers or any other centers. Thx.
dimaxion Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Does Machined Aluminum Specialties still make wire wheels in 1/25 Scale ? Thanx ..
Prostreet Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Terry still makes all his parts, He was suppose to have a new web site, not sure what the status of it is. He suppose to send me pictures of the wheels but nothing yet. Just figure someone on here would have some pictures of them.
Ben Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 If I remember correctly, the MAS wheels had a machined aluminum ring with a flat photo etch circular designed piece that was placed in the center of the aluminum ring.
Terry_of_MAS Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Hi, I'm Terry of MAS. Until my website is up and working feel free to email me at: terry.kinnear@yahoo.com or you can call 7 days a week at 814-282-9244. I am taking orders via email or phone. If you want to place a order I will send you a pay pal invoice and ship the next day or you can choose to send a money order. Lately I've been listing items on eBay trying to get interest back into MAS: http://www.ebay.com/usr/customs_by_terry I look forward to keep serving all of you . Drop me an email and let me know what you need. Thank you for your support, Terry of MAS
Jimmy Wilson Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I bought some Dragster wire wheels off e-Bay, and some more parts directly. He was quick to send my items, and patient on the phone, as I wasn't completely sure as what I wanted/needed. The photo-etched Dragster wire wheel sets are AWESOME ! Jimmy
Steven Zimmerman Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Terry's stuff is fantastic. I probably have a hundred sets of his trim rings, mounted in tires, and will get more as available. I think every model I have built in the last 15 years has MAS trim rings on it. I believe he will be vending at the Toledo / Sylvania swap meet / NNL in October. Look him up....'Z'
