Elliot949 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I am looking for a 440 Six pack hood for a 1969 Road Runner... I know the Charger came with the scoop but has anybody done the hood for a Road Runner... What would really be good is if somebody is casting it to fit the Johan 69 RR... but the AMT 68 would work I can do the simple conversion of that...
Nick Winter Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Randy frost has them in resin for the '68/'69 from AMT, http://www.perrysresin.com/catalog.htm look under hoods.
george 53 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Elliot, Mikes Scale speed shop has one. I got a few of them from him. I'm pretty sure they're 5 bucks each, but i got them a while ago. They might've been only 4 bucks, i can't remember. But they ARE VERY nicely cast with NO flaws or clean up needed. Hope this helps.
Bruno Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Here; http://smblockdodgeresins.webs.com/resinpartlist.htm I bought some parts from him, nice parts! Maybe send him an email before ordering, it's been a long time since I ordered from him, not sure if he is still casting and selling parts.
george 53 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 That's Vaughn Hart, Bruno. VERY good resin caster. He has ALOT of really good stuff too! His castings are excellent, and he offers ALOT of other Mopar stuff. Sorry I forgot to mention him too, just didn't know he had a 6-Pak hood.
Bruno Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 George, do you know if he is still casting and selling parts? Nick mentioned Perry's, but I think he's not casting anymore. I sent him an email a month or two ago about his '70 Cuda conversion, and never got a reply...

Randy Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Perry's is still going. We had put things on the back burner for a while, but as of this week we will be up to date. New Products coming shortly. New Catalogs being sent out today. Getting the store up and running took much more time than planned, but it's holding it's own now. Biggest problem has been making/finding more space.
Bruno Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Good to know Perry's still going, I have never ordered anything from you, yet... But I saw a few things on your website that I'm interested in. PM sent
