soonerolds Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I don't think i've posted this on here before. If i have, my apologies. This is a 1/8 scale dio I'm working on. 'Course in 1/8 you havde to scratchbuild a lot.
ramonesblues Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Did you scratch build the tools? If you did, you need to do an article on making them. I'd love to see how you did it!!!
MrObsessive Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I'll say!! That looks like a REAL workshop! Great details!
soonerolds Posted March 4, 2007 Author Posted March 4, 2007 Thx for the comments. Bill, i've admired your work for many years. I didn't scratchbuild the tools, but did paint, alclad or modify each one of them in some way. Did build the workbench and seat. Looking for soft, red leather for the seat. Next pics will be of washer and dryer. This will be a dio of my garage at home.
old-hermit Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Looking great so far. You have got to tell me where you got the coffee cup and fishing pole.
soonerolds Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 Thx, Al. Coffe cup was pretty simple. Styrene tubing sanded on the top to round it off. Handle is brass wire covered with modeling clay. Fishing pole is one item purchased as is. got it at Hobby Lobby in the doll house section. BTW, i've lost my distributor for the flathead. If anyone has one they would sell, i would like to buy one. Thx,
