Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Any pictures of the under carrige of the yellow camaro? No undercarriage or interior detail as it is a "slammer". What you see is what you get.
Nitro Neil Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Hi, I built this back in the late 1980's, before AMT had reissued the 1970 1/2 kit. I used a resin transkit (can't remember who made it) along with a 1976 (I think) kit to create this. Fred Cady supplied the decals. At the time, I owned a 1971 Camaro, so I was able to go out to the driveway to measure stuff and check the details. I had to change the shape of the back window to match the 1970 model, since the later version of the 2nd generation had a rear window that wrapped around the side of the pillar.
krishna.iskandana Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hi, Here's mine, just posted this one two weeks ago. Regards Krishna

Nitro Neil Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 love the detail from the whindsheild washer up to the squirters Thanks, I built it back in the day, before I was medicated. The doctors say I'm much better now.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 May I ask where the orange came from? I need some that is almost exactly that color. It's not orange. The color is House of Kolor Goldmine Pearl over grey primer.
SuperStockAndy Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Oh, it looked like orange to me Thanks.
SuperStockAndy Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Sweet! I'm gonna get Dencon's D80 spoiler for the '70 that I'm building.........
crowe-t Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) Here's my box stocker '70 1/2 Roger, I thought this was a real car when I first saw the pictures. The background and 'pavement' are real convincing. BTW, A friend has a '73 Camaro in the same color. What color/paint did you use on this build? Edited January 21, 2011 by crowe-t
LAone Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 haha, it sure can pass as the real think. great looking camaro's guys. i like all of them
Guest Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Roger, I thought this was a real car when I first saw the pictures. The background and 'pavement' are real convincing. BTW, A friend has a '73 Camaro in the same color. What color/paint did you use on this build? Michael, that's Boyds True Blue Pearl over flat black. For some reason,I have better luck spraying blues and purples over black.
crowe-t Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Michael, that's Boyds True Blue Pearl over flat black. For some reason,I have better luck spraying blues and purples over black. I wasn't sure if it was a factory color. It looks great though. Except for the the split bump, the hood scoop and the side pipes it looks just like my friend's '73. It used to have the Cragers too. It's been a while since I've seen it and I think it now has Pro Stars.
RodneyBad Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Built this out of the Old AMT 70 1/2 Camaro for a G/F and Never to be seen again. Built out of another Old AMT 70 1/2 Camaro with a Revell 80's T-bird chassis with my own Old school Monza Exhaust tips.
75th Ranger Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 All of these camaros look fantastic!
Dragline Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Here is a couple of my stalled [for now] Baldwin Motion car. I'll finish it eventually. Bob
