Peterbilt 6x6

I saw this truck built and photographed in 2005 - I wanted to build a model of it and started it in 2006 modifying an Italeri 377 cab and hood. I put the model back in the box and slowly gathered parts and pieces for the build. I started back on it in mid November.

The chassis is Evergreen strip #392 and the crossmembers are Evergreen #409.

The above pic shows how I install glass - a tip passed to me by Rick Mark.

Doug Walker make the Schlumberger logos for me.

I need to trim the excess decal film off the peep window.

If you look carefully in the horn snowcap - the reflection is me and my camera crouching over the model. This has to be my favorite pic I've taken in a long time. The photograph background is reflecting in the side of the hood and the person with the ballcap appears in scale.

That is a tough looking Pete, very nice!! How do you cover something like a radiator surround with all of those curves with bmf and not get one wrinkle?
