Dr. Cranky Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 I think it's getting to be a mighty fine time for someone with sculpting skills to come up with Zombie figures in 1/24th scale. It would be great to have a set of say 3-5 figures with extra parts, etc . . . Those things would rule!!! Jimmy Flinstone are you listening? Scale Auto Equipment LTD are you listening? Someone? Anyone?
bad0210 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 not for sure what scale these are.http://www.amazon.com/Flesh-Eating-Zombies-Figure-Set/dp/B000OE3M48
Dr. Cranky Posted December 11, 2010 Author Posted December 11, 2010 Wow, Brandon, that's a good find, but it would be good to know what scale that is . . . I am thinking of looking into the Tamiya Campus Friends and Preiser Adam & Eve sets and then maybe modifying my own figures . . . But my original point was the express an interest in already-made figures . . . even if they are unpainted!
parki Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Wow!! those figures are cool . shame no one knows what scale they are.
Ghost1 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 They are between 1/24 and 1/20 scale. If you consider the tallest is 72 in. in 1:1. The tallest figure is 3 1/4 in. 1/20 = 3.6'' 1/24 = 3''
bad0210 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 theirs also some cool figures in 1/24 called Dust figures. they look cool but i cant find much info on them.
Joe Handley Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 keep a look out in unlikely places too. years ago i found a company that made a whole line of 1/24-25 scale sports figures that had sports equipment that worked in my models. i found them just browsing the isles in the toy store after looking for model kits. there is also a store in the mall, can't think of the name right now but they have all sorts of "dark" and interesting things from clothes to little trinkety stuff and i've found figures in there before. Spenser's also has some figures sometimes as well. I think Dave's talking about Hot Topic, those tend to have a pretty heavy Goth theme to them, might also check places like the FYE music stores too, they can carry some odd stuff too.
jeffb Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 probably too late in the year, but micheals had a bunch of halloween stuff, some looked to be our scale
slantasaurus Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Am I missing something ??? Other than how it's painted, how would a zomby be any different than any other figure ???

mountaindewd Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 According to a customer review on Amazon for this item... "I have this set and have combined them with my B-Horror Movie set Paparazzi Set and Angry Mob set to make a total spooky village scene on my 1/24 scale railroad . There is also so a glow in the dark Skeleton Pirate crew . any boy and many girls will love these sets . They do glow well in the dark for a short period of time ."

Dr. Cranky Posted December 12, 2010 Author Posted December 12, 2010 Slixx, buddy, you are doing a great job, and if you know how to cast them, heck, you can make a great little business off maybe 3-5 figures, or maybe a couple of with some head and limb options. Keep me posted, I'm definitely interested in buying, if you cast them!!! You rock, buddy.
