Hairy Dude Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 (edited) This is a car that i really love, for me, it's a symbol of car's. It's my beast. Until i can't own the real one, i have to own it as a model. I painted it metallic blue, needs one more coat and then lacquer, got these wheels from Japan and they fit so good in my opinion so those will stay! Engine is 426 HEMI with SIX-PAK carburetor or with weber carburetor's, havent decided yet. I didnt like the front lip which was in 2 pieces so i glued a bigger piece of plastic on them, now it looks perfect to me. In future, i will get a Cuda, so i could have 2 brothers sitting side by side. Richard. Edited June 16, 2011 by Hairy Dude
Blake Rogers Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Richard i love it man really wicked what kit are the wheels from?
Hairy Dude Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 These rims are not from a kit, they're bought separetly. They're Aoshima's BBS LM 20". Aoshima has got some kits which include these rims but i cant name them at the moment.

Hairy Dude Posted June 14, 2011 Author Posted June 14, 2011 Got inspiration and started on it again, body went through brake fluid, got new rims for it ( Cragar S/S with some Goodyear tires ) Today, i finished the interior, it's modificated for racing. I tried some techniques for making a real welding but they got too big, now i know how to make good welds... I am not going to reveal the body color yet but it's going to be something beautiful ( atleast for me :D ) Bye, Richard.
LAone Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Bye, Richard. ok, so is this the look your going for?? i think this looks pretty cool. different in a few ways.
diymirage Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 if you do decide no to fix the suspension so the wheels wil sit in there normal you should really consider building a model of a monstertruck to park on top of that...its the only way i can see this camber looking good having said that...its your build and you should build it however you want to
Hairy Dude Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) Hahaha, thanks guys,it will have camber but not as much as on the picture. I am trying to get the look of and this melted together but it will be sitting very low! Edited June 15, 2011 by Hairy Dude
Hairy Dude Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 Got started with another project. 67 Corvette C2, going to be racing style too. Could anybody change the title of the topic to Challenger T/A & Corvette '67, please. Bye, Richard.
Hairy Dude Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 Now i know how to do it. Didn't see the " full editor " thingie before, thanks and you will see updates on Challenger soon!
torinobradley Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I'm scared to ask about the former paint job on this car...
Hairy Dude Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 (edited) I need help guys, i want to do the legendery 426 HEMI detailed but i dont know alot about engines, especially about HEMI's... ...plugs or pipes connect into those things ive show'n with red arrows? and where do they go? I know they go somewhere underneath the air filter but i've never seen a hemi with my own eye and i think ive never seen a picture without air filter too... I can say that i hate wiring V8's This picture show's the color of wheel centre's so good... Just a bad picture. Sorry if my english isn't the best, not from a countrey where we speak english Bye, Richard. Edited June 16, 2011 by Hairy Dude
george 53 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Rich, those are Engine Breather caps, or Valve cover breathers. They vent gasses from the engine.
Hairy Dude Posted June 19, 2011 Author Posted June 19, 2011 Going with the BBS's i think they look so ###### perfect for this car....
bigphoto Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) Don't worry about the camber its a MOPAR and after several years of hard driving it will camber out naturally Seriously though it is looking very cool. B4 flack from the MOPAR peanut gallery it was a joke Edited June 19, 2011 by bigphoto
mrm Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I think it looks really cool with these wheels. Now if you just make a modern looking air filter "cap" it would be wayyyy cool. Love the color combo too.
whale392 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 C'mon Tim, you know the spring perches will rust right through the trunk floor before the rear will camber like that! (Hey, I own some Mopars, and sadly this isn't a joke! ) In all honesty, I like the BBS look better than the earlier style wheels.
richcrabman Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 where is the front of the car from in the first piture? and would it fit a 69 dodge charger 500? thanks, rich
Hairy Dude Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) Sorry, didn't quite copy that. If you meant the front clip, then it's out of the box but if u meant front splitter, it's just evergreen styrene cutted to right shape Edited June 21, 2011 by Hairy Dude
fairlaneranch Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Sand the glass with 800 to 1000 grit and clear it,good as new!!!!
Hairy Dude Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 i will give sandpaper a try but when it doesn't work, i just scratch a new one.
