TheCat Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 This was my first 4x4 vehicle that I've ever built. It was a really clean and smooth build. At the beginning, I was not sure what color to paint the kit. I finally decided on Tamiya's Champaign color. This is also my first attempt on making gold chrome wheels. That also came out looking REALLY good. My little niece liked this model so much that she gave me the little butterfly decals that I added to the kit. These butterflies were actually part of her fake nails kit. I must say, they went together perfect on this kit. As if they were made to be on there. I also created my custom plates with my niece's name. I painted the seats inserts to give it a little more custom look to it and put my little niece's name on the seats. All in all, I really love how this kit came together. Model Kit: Fujimi Kit # 03048 Scale: 1/24 Model Box
MrObsessive Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Very nice and clean! I remember when these were new and they were the hot little thing to have! Don't see many on the road anymore these days unfortunately--------I've been told they were a blast to drive!
chris731 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Came out great, don't see many of those. The little butterfly decal is a nice touch. I'll have to remember to look at finger nail decal sets. Never thought of those. Are those a rub on type?
gray07 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Very nice, i never seen a model of one before

One thing, be sure of the location, because once that decal touches the model it sticks like glue.
crazyjim Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Super looking build. I'm in the market for a 1:1 Samurai but haven't found the right one yet.
Matt P Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Nice build Felix, I like the color combination in the interior. I also like those CT plates.....cool.
