Thanks for the tip, and where did you get the front conversion kit? (the link I can find it at realiable resin)

Ranger i get the conversion kit from reliable resin, but i wait for this any months. you can get it also by dencon resin.

Hello my friends !

Today I can show you the wedding between body, engine and chassis. It was not easy, because the chassis had a little distortion, but after some time of adjusting but it works.

the motor is from a few little things already done. Please do not be surprised because of the yellow color of components, but these are also in the original vehicle of my friend made in this color. is certainly a matter of taste - I would also finish in different;-)

and here the finished stance:

the built goes to its end - only little parts and its finished.

that side marker comes with the Dencon conversion by the way B)

maybe you could make some from some thin orange plastic backed with foil?

I would try foil casting it, It's real easy to do, Cut the Bare Metal Foil twice the size of the marker light, Then fold it over so it sticks to itself, Burnish it over the back marker light, , I would use an unpainted body if you have one on hand, If not use what you have already, make sure you tape the top and bottom of the foil leaving the marker light exposed ,And start off with a cotton swab , Then carefully work around the detail with a toothpick, After that ,Remove ,And fill in with baking soda or baby powder mixed with superglue, Mixed so you can just flow it in the mold you just made with a toothpick, I always do this sideways to keep it uniform, Let it dry ,Then cut it out, And you have your markerlight, Already Chromed! Very easy to do, And FREE parts, I make them all the time. I hope this helps you out, That paint looks like glass. B)

Very well done, that's really coming together nicely & the Paint is awesome !

A few points , I'd like to touch on.

We are presently planing to revise that front end so that it can accomidate both the Non "SS" & "SS" separated grilles, as well as the separate bumper. That conversion kit you org'l ordered was the stock AMT Front conversion clip w/ the grille / bumper as a one piece , I think in the 2nd pkg we shipped , we shipped both

(as the 1st is somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean or lost in customs )

Secondly, the conversion pkg. as we were offering came w/o marker light, b/c ;

#1 99% who purchased it , were creating the T/A car & there was no marker light

#2 that marker light, (when cast) was way outta scale ( too big )

Might I suggest that you either use (*either) a lil' BMF as frame / backing w/ a rectangular yellow decal

Another way , ( if you don't have extra yellow decal ) is to paint Turn Signal Amber on some BMF & cut it a lil smaller then lay over the 1st piece BMF which acts as the frame

*OR a piece off a Photoetched , MCG offered many various shaped Marker Lights in many of the Photoetched pkgs they offered , I love using the Photoetched details for Marker lights

Looking fwd to seeing the progress & completed piece B)
