Hey all,

I got these in a box of parts, and I need some help identifying it..

I believe it's a 1963 Chevy Impala, but I'm not sure.....

I'm guessing it might be Revell(?), but I don't know which version.

It would be a great help to know, so I can begin the long journey of tracking down parts to restore it :):D

BTW, I wasn't sure where to put this post, so I did it here, I hope nobody minds :D

Cheers, Ian

It's a 63 Chevy for sure. Other than that I can't be of any help, sorry.

The way the chassis mounts to the body matches the Revell '63 Impala. The speakers in the door are the same as well. I have the 2003 lowrider 2 'n 1 kit. I would assume yours is an earlier issue as my kit has bucket seats, no bench seat. I can scan the instruction sheets if needed.

isn't there a new issue of the '63 Impy that just came out a few days ago? Because if your kit (if it's the revell one) is missing some important parts, you could pick it up or track down the donks issues for even cheaper.

The separate decklid nails it as the Revell. Reissued in the last couple of weeks.

Hmmm.......I wasn't even noticing the opened decklid! ;) I was looking at the front roof crown as the Revell one always looked more accurate to me than the old AMT version. ;) The Revell one's a good kit BTW------------shouldn't have much of an issue building it when you get all the pieces.
