Kanedge
Thanks to everyone who followed this build, it's finally done. I called it 'Knight-mare' because I've never had a build get me down so much. The only part not painted twice, I didn't end up using. The body, grill, bonnet, chassis, wheels were all painted twice. The guards were painted 4 times. I'm glad that I was able to find out how to strip 2K clear easily. The colour is Tamiya TS75, Champagne Gold with Zero 2K clear, running gear is Testors Bronze with Tamiya TS13 clear and my version of Black Chrome. Interior is Tamiya Racing White with black striping on the seats. All in all, I'm happy that I stuck it out and got it finished, even if it did my head in. It has turned out to be one of my favourite looking models. Once again, thanks for following this 'Knight-mare'. Please feel free to comment or criticise. Dr. Cranky
Wow, what a beauty. Silver and black are classy colors . . . and you've done a super spectacular job. This thing is coming along beautifully.

ChrisR
Nice built and I love the colour. One question though, why no rear lights?
crazyjim
I like nice and shiny hot rods.
Terry Sumner
Love everything but the tires. Sorry...I'm old school and don't care for rubber bands on hot rods. Might be okay for Lambos and suc but I don't think they fit on a 32 Ford.
sobpinstriping
I do like but I'm with Terry on the wheels but other than that it looks great

Chris C
Just regarding the comment about the wheels, given the style of the car, what other wheels could be better? I can't see a modern styled car like this working with anything else. Imagine it with steelies and wide whites?? Would look rubbish! You can't separate the style of wheel from the style of the build. Don't get me wrong, I favour retro style cars myself, but for this particular car, these wheels are absolutely spot on.
Dave B
That is a nice build Kane. Generally don't build that 'style' but yours looks sharp

Kanedge
Thanks for the kind comments everyone, this one was certainly a challenge for me and I'm definitely glad it's over. I didn't expect to cause a debate over the wheels, I just personally think that this style of wheel suits this build, that's all, but that's my preference. It was designed to be a show rod, not a hot rod. My two cents for what it's worth. Regards.
crazyjim
It's your build, Kane, and you should build it the way want.
stewart
I love it. I agree that the wheels look spot on for this build. I love this "pro touring" style. Looks really good.
