caine440
Well guys it took me forever but this one is done. The photos are a little dark but it is the best I could do here. Don at reliable resin saved the day on this one by sending me a hood to replace the one I trashed. I also used clear head lights made by him. Thanks for looking! Reliable Resin
WOW ... 2 Thumbs Up ! Roger , you have really come a long way , in a short period of time 1 of the most impressive aspects of that piece , is Paint I know many accomplished builders , who would think twice about that tackling that 2 tone deal & the curved edges , to match the decals pinstripes ! I'll be re~introducing all the Pro Stock'rs i.e. 72 > 73 Challenger P/S, & the 71 Challenger , as well as the 72 Duster P/S ( fresh rubber ) w/ a few NEW goodies that I've collected / found ( in the past 2 > 3 yrs ) for the "different faces , different Races " look of these P/S'rs through out the years At the moment , I'm offering the corrected 73>74 Duster P/S body & various packages / presentations Can't wait to see those "other" Pro Stock pieces that you have stored , collecting dust on your shelf > LOL

Cato
The only inaccuracy in your presentation is that Landy's stomach was approximately twice that size... Great detail, build and reference.

Force
This is a very nice representation of this car and I really like it a lot. The only thing I can complain about is the placing of the dual distributors, it looks a bit strange where they are now...as they could have been on a Ford engine. It should look more like this. Or like this Edited February 20, 2011 by Force
Reeves Racing
That is an OUTSTANDING build. The Challenger is a very tough looking car and with that paint and tires it looks like a monster. Great job. Thanks for posting.
caine440
Yea I get it the distributors are not correct. Thanks for pointing it out again. If you knew anything about me or my builds you would be aware I am very well versed in the history of early Pro Stock. This motor was built over a year ago when I first started in the hobby and was the first try at using a aftermarket distributor kit to make a dual plug motor. To the best of my knowledge there has never been a dual plug Pro Stock Ford motor. Then I am no expert. Thanks for all the kind words from everyone else. I really like your model a lot and was just trying to give out constructive critisism...but that seems to have backfired big time. I'm sorry if I offended you, because that was not my meaning at all.
