envious8420 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 hobby lobby sells boxes of 1000 Popsicle sticks for less than 4 bux, but if you look around the same area/isle i found and prefer the wooden coffee stir sticks. they are longer and skinnier. perfect for testors bottles and resin mixing. what do you like to use?
Iron Fist Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Toothpicks, currently using the round with pointed ends as they also make great glue applicators Edited February 27, 2011 by Iron Fist
Dave Ambrose Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I use Popsicle sticks for all sorts of things; shims, risers for setting your stance, mixing epoxy, holding parts for painting, and making a tacky jewelry box for your mother-in-law. One box lasts me about 15 years or so. I like the coffee stirrers better for paint. This is one instance where Starbucks is truly your friend. You can help yourself to some extras and they don't seem to mind.
Foxer Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 sprue. It sometimes even comes in different colors!
Draggon Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Whenever I am at Starbucks I take my coffee stirrer home with me. I drink a lot of coffee!
935k3 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I use bamboo skewers(like the ones below) sold in grocery stores. there about $2.00 a pack. I cut them in half and get two out of every one.
hot-heapz Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 For Testors Bottles, I'll usually throw a BB in there. Then I just shake them up.

kitbash1 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 but what if its one of those colors you rarely use and it gets thick? Add a couple of drops of thinners to the paint and toss in few more BB's and shake like hell !!!
