lordairgtar Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 AAAWWWWW , what cute puppy dogs. I had one like Jake when I was a kid. The tears are welling up now. Love the Falcon.
RJWood Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Hey zebm1, you need to get that 25 gallon compressor that you told me you had fired up to paint that sweet Ford Falcon you got. whats she got under the hood? Ive seen one in my area restored and it looks bad azz. its fire engine red with nice wheels and sounds mean. Ron.
Guest zebm1 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Tha Ford is still all stock, although my G-ma ordered it with tha 200 c.i. six, automatic trans, tinted windshield, heater and nothing else, not even a radio. Car has only 90,642 miles. My plan: 260-302, 4 bbl into an aluminium C-6 or one of tha newer 4 spd w/ OD German/Ford auto trannys. Push it all into (my dream - a Franklin Engineering 10-spline Quik-change rear axle), stock car racers know what I'm talking about. Outside: Fiberglas Flip-front w/ lower bumper/splash pan to look like tha Shelby GT 350. Black anodized grille, headlight trim rings. Wimbeldon White with pearl glaze, saphire blue metalflake racing stripes. Interior to be taken from a 79 Futura or Zephyr Z-7, done in blue w/ white trim. Rear wheelwells cut tha same as tha front wheelwells. Disc brakes up front, maybe out back. Nascar fuel cell in trunk and maybe a black anodized roll bar structure. After all, tha Falcon runs tha same frame as tha Muskstangs did. Zeb
Jairus Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 No frame but I know what you mean Henry. Great idea doing a Shelby Falcon. Gregg and I played with that idea for his Rancharo before he sold it. I would go white with blue stripes for max effect! So... how's the weather there in paradise?
