Does anyone do a 1940 chevy coupe? It could be styrene or resin. I want to build the car my dad had when I was young. It was either a business coupe or a standard coupe, can't really remember now.

Revell has a 1939 Chevy Coupe hot rod, I don't know if it would work for you or not. Here's a pic of it from Revell's website.

If I remember correctly, it has a 427 Big Block Chevy engine and no stock engine or wheels, but it might be a start if the 40 is similar.

Unless there has been a '40 Chevy done in 1/43 scale or smaller, no. 1940 saw a one-year-only body series for Chevrolet--nothing above the chassis was carried over from 1939, and the '40 shares nothing bodywise with the '41 or later cars, although 1940's styling did predict that of 1941.
