Space Cowboy Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Just finished this odd one. Color is Sesame Shimmer and it's powered by a big Hemi..................
RodneyBad Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 That's one Go Gettin Rolls. Yup, It's got a Hemi Cool Rolls. Nice work..
Chuck Most Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon? Very, very cool!
Kanedge Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Nice work. I've been wanting to do something similar, which kit did you get the body from?
Harry P. Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Now that is one crazy Rolls! That's one of the cool things about model cars... you can do stuff in scale that would be very hard (and expensive) to do in "real life." I can't say I've ever seen a pro-street RR before!
Space Cowboy Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 Nice work. I've been wanting to do something similar, which kit did you get the body from? It's an older kit from Minicraft......................
sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 There's no end to how people will re-purpose a Rolls.
MikeeD Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Roddin' a Rolls......ackkkkkkkkk.................is nothing sacred anymore?..... Cool build though...hehe
sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Getting back to the original post, I would just say that Bruce has done this very poor kit an honor (I believe it was originally issued by Hubley) by spending so much time with it and stuffing a hemi under the bonnet. I wish we could see the interior; one real hot-rodded Rolls I saw used the Flying Lady mascot as a shift knob.
sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I was stimulated by this thread to tackle this kit and see what I could do with it, so I Googled around for color schemes and found this one from Belgium.
jeff ewaskey Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 (edited) I bet Zsa Zsa Gabor wouldn't of slapped the cop if she was toolin around in "that" Rolls. " But of course it has a Hemi, Dahling." Very creative twist on your build. I like it alot. Edited April 28, 2011 by nhrafan
