This one is from MANY moons ago, built back in the 90's. Nascar driver Bill Elliott used to have a Ford dealership in Dahlonega GA, and each year that particular dealership would sell a limited number of "Bill Elliott Signature Edition" Thunderbirds, that were dealer modified with body panels, spoilers, and special paint. A friend of mine had an '87 version and asked me to build a model of it. Monogram Turbo T-bird with scrachbuilt grille, ground effects, and 8 hole wheels. Engine is from a Mustang kit. Gold pinstripes are from a model railroad decal sheet.

Here's my 1987 Thunderbird SC Turbo Coupe. Built to represent one that sat my garage for months before the owner finally came back to "BUY" it. LoL This kit was a bugger to build. Fought me tooth and nail.

Simple Turbo 4, FoMoCo Titanium Grey and Bright Silver Tu-Tone Paint, Crimson Interior.
