Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 AMT 1972 GTO with Reliable Resin 1971 GTO transkit and spoiler package. Corrected rear bumper and taillights mastered by myself and cast by Reliable Resin. Sport front seats from Reliable Resin. Wheels are Aoshima Victrix Pleasure wide rims. Paint is HOK Ultra Orange Pearl with Keith Marks Judge decals and cleared with Tamiya TS-13. Won 3rd Place - Curbside at the MCMA Showdown on 3/17/2007. It's pretty tough to compete against Tamiya kits in the Curbside class.
Guest roadkill2525 Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 The verdic is in, great looking Judge.
Tonioseven Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I'm not one to "Judge" but my verdict is: Guilty of being baaaaad 8) 8) 8)

Matt T. Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Very, very nice! That's the AMT kit?! The headlights really do make a world of difference. Great job.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted April 13, 2007 Author Posted April 13, 2007 Very, very nice! That's the AMT kit?! The headlights really do make a world of difference. Great job. Yeppers, it's the AMT ex-MPC '72 GTO backdated to a 1971 with the Reliable Resin transkit. The headlights in the kit parts were drilled out and replaced with MV Lenses.
Mike Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 That's one of the best looking Judge's I've seen in a long time. Fantastic!
kelson Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 cool looking judge seen the 71 gto transkit on ebay, may pick one up incredible paint job ,luv the stance.
roadrunner69kev Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Absolutely love the work on the GTO. I have forever hated the AMT 72 available. The amount of money and effort is insane for this particular goat, but this is the best I've seen! Kudos. Kevin https://modelcargarage.blogspot.com/
Fanof69 Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Love it!! Got one of these to build. Hope it comes out half as nice.

Can-Con Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 You guys realise this thread is over 9 years old, that's probably why you can only see one pic.
roadrunner69kev Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 (edited) If you google images of 1972 GTO model car, there are a half dozen of this one on the web. Kevinhttps://modelcargarage.blogspot.com/ Edited May 28, 2016 by roadrunner69kev edit name
Rider Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Good job all round. Agreed, the Tamiya kits are shake 'n bake deals.
Snake45 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I do believe that might be the nicest build of that kit I've ever seen. Got any more pics?
MemyselfandI Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 That is one bad ass Judge!!! One of my favorite all time cars.
