My gentle Jesus was this kit frustrating or what?

None of the parts fit well AT ALL! But given the fact that it took me 18 months to build I think it turned out well.

It's box stock apart from the hand made antenna and weathering. I wanted it to look like the Duke boys had really thrashed it :(

Thanks for the comments guys! I've been weatherring since I was very young, mostly making model trains look like they'd been through central Australia. My technique is easy to learn. I dry brush, where you dip your brush in paint and cean it until there's only a tiny amount of paint left on there, then go for it.

Aaron, Excellent job with the weathering! It really looks like dried mud.

What paint/color did you use for the 'orange' body?

Hey, now that would be a nice twist on the same old, same old General Lees we see all the time.

Do a little diorama scene with a scale figure Daisy washing the car! :lol:

Come on... one of you DOH fans who have a GL built up... how about it?
