I started this build as a friendly challenge on another forum, working on it when I had the time.

Here's what rolled into the shop-a rare six tail light AMT 60 T-Bird.

After about eight months and more than a few trials and tribulations here's what I ended up with-

I totally enjoyed the build and got a lot of satisfaction bringing this old glue bomb back to life!

Great job of saving an old classic and I like the mesh grille better than the original. It would look even better with some baby moons. Just my personal opinion.:unsure:

Nice Job!! I have a few of these old AMT glue bomb's that I'm working on. I'm adding a sunroof to my 60! You did an amazing job straitening that one out. Does it still have it's engine?

Thanks, I put a 430 in it from the 66 Continental kit. Trip carbs and manifold from the parts box with Alcladed valve covers.

Love the Squarebird, and your custom rendition is killer! The '58-'60 style is one of my favortie designs, I'd love to have the AMT kit one of these days.
