Reeves Racing Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I grew up in Winfield KS and Darryl Starbird lived in Mulvane KS at the time. My grandpa had a auto repair shop in Winfield and Darryl's son Cliff had kind of a satilite shop in Winfield. They build a handful of the super custom cars out of the Winfield shop. We did some of the mechical work on some of their customs. This build brought back a lot of good memories. I'm looking forward to seeing it all painted up.
John Teresi Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Hello......I got some color on the body......H.O.K. white pearl base coat.........I mixed fingernail polish #1 with H.O.K. white pearl for the first color......then I mixed H.O.K. white pearl with fingernail polish #2 for the second color.......I will give the body a clear coat tonight and I will put the white pinstripe and the fogging tomorrow......thank`s for looking.

Excellent work, All of the models you bring to the table are always top notch and a true pleasure to see all of the details. when they are viewed up close and in person.
