I grew up in Winfield KS and Darryl Starbird lived in Mulvane KS at the time. My grandpa had a auto repair shop in Winfield and Darryl's son Cliff had kind of a satilite shop in Winfield. They build a handful of the super custom cars out of the Winfield shop. We did some of the mechical work on some of their customs. This build brought back a lot of good memories.

I'm looking forward to seeing it all painted up.

John, I love this build, like I do your other builds and the ones yet to come. I have to say, I like really like the out come so far on this one though. I like the color combo you went with. Very nice.

John, I Wonder if Gregg Wann realized the true potential of this masterpiece, you are building when he cast it. Excellent work, All of the models you bring to the table are always top notch and a true pleasure to see all of the details. when they are viewed up close and in person.

Wow. Colors are looking good. Paintjob is nice too, as usual... I like the engine detailing too, it's simply amazing. It's going to be real nice model again from your bench. Can't wait to see more of your work. :D
