mikemodeler Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I (or anyone who's good with Photoshop) can take a photo of a model with sloppy BMF, an orange-peel paint job and glue smears on the glass, retouch all the flaws and make the model look pretty much perfect. And if I didn't tell you, you would never even know that I did it. Harry, you are hired for next year's contest! I will stop improving my skills and just let you work your magic. I will be sure to give you props as I accept my award, much like the actors do at the Academy Awards! Okay, enough kidding around, I think the contest did what Revell wanted and from the sounds of it, those of us that didn't enter this year will get our chance next year.
MikeMc Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Well just watched the Gearz episode with the winners. The real news was Roger Harney and Ed Sexton were on the show...measuring the Rat Roaster....looks like it is going to be out in 1/8 scale after watching!!

If not, well I will have to make room for a 1/8 model!
