Reliable Resin Posted April 25, 2007 Author Posted April 25, 2007 Don... would you care to share Your photo tips or pointers?? Lighting etc.. Well.......... while attending an NNL , I watched the way Gregg shot the Models for the Mag Simple Curved Poster Board background, however I don't have Big $'s for the Flash /Strobe lights #1 Many think that they need to get Right Up on the Subject which 90% is way to close .......... i.e. on a 3/4 Shot the Front of Car is out of focus & the Background is in focus What I do is set the Tripod approx. 1 > 1.5 ft away (then crop the image in Photo Shop) #2 I like using GE Reveal Bulbs, they cast a Clean Blue Light as the Erg Bulbs cast a Yellowish light I probably spent $1,000 of dollars on wasted NFG pic's back in the day of SLR ( film ) Cameras When I got this Dig Camera What I did was tried various settings & wrote down what settings I used ea. pic on a 3X5 card in the corner of the pic A lil' Trial & Error ............ until I got the result I wanted One thing That I know works well , is I like shooting w/ 2 Desk Lights w/ Reveal Bulbs in them w/ NO OTHER lights on in the room When all fails ............ read the Camera manual  Build ON ! Don
