Nick Winter Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 So yesterday I bought a new camera and have been practicing taking photo's. This is one of my favourites and I thought it deserved new photo's. Nick
Nick Winter Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 ok cool 53 ford rat truck. Not a rat, just a weathered beat up old Iowa farm truck. Nick
Rob Z Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Good looking beater... Looks like some of the farm vehicles around here and better than some of the road cars around here also...
Foxer Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 That's a well used ... at least a couple years into it's life ... truck. Every "bump" on it tells a story! I'm loving your new camera too, Nick!
62rebel Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 nice work, Nick! one of my favorite kits hands down. reminds me of my younger years in the sticks of Virginia!
Chuck Most Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 A beat up green Effie... how can I NOT love this? You're really getting good at making them look well-used, Nick.
saltflat1 Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Nice build with excellant weathering ! What kind of camera did you score ?
Jantrix Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Oh man that's nice Nick. Great authentic look. Well done.
Nick Winter Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 Thanks Everyone. Henry, I ended up buying a GE J1200, it's not overly fancy, but perfect for my level of photography. Nick
bsoder Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Can see why it's a favorite Nick!...pics. are lookin' great to man
Dominik Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 nice looking Ford - i like the rusty parts and the backside most. only the front "crash" on the right is too flat i mean. There perhaps you can try, to drill the headlight and fix some cables in the hole. Look at this i've made on a BMW Isetta: I think, it would look better.

That's a very good idea, maybe I'll do that or add it to the next, thanks.
