I'm thinking of getting back to building models. This is the last one I built in 1980 or '81. It won 1st place Stock Car @ a car show, that had a model contest. It has been packed away in a model box since!

By all means, come back. What I can see through the fuzzy pic looks great. Looking forward to seeing some more stock car folks on here. No pressure, though. It's all about fun.

I know I'm a bit late on this thread lol,sorry! I still have that model sib. I'm in the process of building Ron Bouchard's purple #17 modified that he ran at Seekonk in the 70's. Glad that I was able to see all the greats at a local level. They would have over 100 modifieds show up for 36 starting spots at Thompson for 10K to win . Bugsy,Richie Evans,Bodine, you name it. Anyhow , great job on the build and welcome back...

Do you still have the Ron Bouchard 47 model sitting in a box? I am a friend of Ronnie's and would love to have it proudly displayed in my office. I wrote a children's book about him called From Impossible about how was my role model growing up. Then, when he died of cancer five years ago, I created a nonprofit called the RB Racing Charity in his honor. I would sure love to have that model if you're willing to part with it?
