Lunajammer Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Nice work indeed. Yeah, as time availed I built one of those models too. It's at my desk at work. Talk about an awesome tool to help you visualize the entire center.
hellonwheelz3 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 That's a beautiful poster. Your niece did a great job.
Danno Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Very nice. She did a great job with an important message: Never Forget!
Dragracer Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Really like it, nice job, great idea also!
Jon Cole Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I never realized there was a model of the World Trade Center. Any details, such as brand, price, availability?
Lunajammer Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 It's a paper model Jon and it's free. Download at this link and print on card stock. There are plenty of images with a google search. I also see there are free offerings floating around for the new Freedom Center. http://www.buildyourownnewyork.com/WTC2002.pdf
Barbo Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 (edited) My Model is symilar to this one , But has a more realistic finish texture. I also made a larger copy over cardboard from 9" to 18" and reinforced the structures with foamboard inside so if they fall they won't bend or damage. I am very happy because a local newspaper from our island use my model for the front page as a tribute...Barbo Edited September 10, 2011 by Barbo
