2002p51 Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 All this talk, and dare I say, excitement about the Mobious 1/25th scale Hudson reminded of this little model I built a long time ago. The kit was made by Precision Miniatures. It's 1/43rd scale and made of cast white metal. (It's surprisingly heavy for such a small model!) I don't remember exactly when I built it but the copyright date on the bottom is 1981, so it had to be right around that time. There's no engine and minimal chassis detail but it does have a full interior. As you can see, the decals are slightly out of register but they are very complete, even down to the little red "Hornet" logos on the trim pieces. Because this is still the only 1/43rd scale model in my collection, it doesn't have a real "home" on the shelves with all of my 1/25th models, so it just sits on my workbench and has been there for all these years! I hope some of you enjoy seeing it.
imatt88 Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Cool, Can't wait until the Moebius kit hits the shelves
Dr. Cranky Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Whatever the scale, it's a wonderful model and you should be very proud and pleased with it. Beautiful.
peter31a Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 That is a sweet little 1/43 build. Like others have said it makes me look forward to the upcoming Moebius kit even more. Thanks for posting.
surfjunke Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Great build of a cool car & a nice kit! Precision Miniatures made some really nice Metal kits back in the late 70's & early 80's.

Plasticfanatic Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Love it!!! I to am looking forward for the 1/25 scale model to build it like yours. Super build in 1/43 scale, which by the way no matter how small the scale or year of build still looks soooo good!!!
