silenthill Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Hello, this is a mpc dodge monaco dukes of hazzard, converted in detective Hunter's Dodge monaco.
martinfan5 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 very nice build , hunter was one of my favorite tv shows, what shade green is that?
RodneyBad Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 looks perty good. Light looks good too. Chevy rallys with cop car hubcaps? I can see your camera in the cap.
Chuck Most Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Loved the show, and I think this is the first Hunter Monaco I've seen done up in scale. Now, who's going to do the beater '70 Ford he had in the pilot?
Rick Schmidt Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I like it a lot never seen the show tho Rodney about the chevy rallys with cop car caps. .. some one on here actually suggested that to me before i procured the correct rims. They look the part too aside from a few differences

They look the part too aside from a few differences about the only difference i can tell is the chevy rallys have 5 slots and the dodge have 6 slots. After ya Install copcar hubcaps, most people can't tell the difference.
2000-cvpi Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I have been watching Hunter season one and two for the last few weeks. I was planning the same build, except for the yellow and primer beater that they used for a few episodes. Very nice, clean work on your version.
Dominik Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I like this Monaco. Sedans are always rare and fine to look at, when someone build it. Cool idea! I made the same Monaco as a copcar - in memory of Hunter, because the tv-show was one my favorite.
silenthill Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Thanks guys! Too I love the TV series Hunter! The green body is used for the Tamiya PS-9, I used the rims of unlimitedscenes chevy rally, I knew they were not going too well, but were similar to the 6 slots of dodge. the tires are amt kit buick wildcat, are slightly smaller than the kit mpc my next job should be the Monaco of the NYC police-yodel- Edited September 26, 2011 by silenthill
Bill Edman Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 very nice i am in process of building the same car
Maindrian Pace Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Love it. I really go for big, plain, American sedans with big engines and dog dish hub caps. Lots to build from lately, plastic and resin both. -MJS
