eviltwincustoms
Already know about these... just finished putting my order in for a 4 speed set up. Plus plenty of other goodies, (NOS kit, U-Joints, Front tranny section, 2 Middle sections and the reverse section). I know exactly where I will be going back once you have that 1/8 scale body in production! I need to start saving up for that, as I am sure it will be a pretty penny to break out the billfold for. Oh I forget to add, Dave by chance I didn't notice did TIM mold the tranny sections with the Lenco wording on each section? eviltwincustoms
Chris, yes he does. TDR @ Shapeways Chris you want the new site Tim is putting together. He sent it to me and is much easier to get around on. http://sites.google....tdrinnovations/ Everything is broken out by scale and type of part. The Turbo Chargers are pretty cool as well! He even makes different inlet sizes and Left and Right Hand for easier plumbing if needed. Edited October 3, 2011 by eviltwincustoms

Man I see a few things that I would love to just buy right now. I need to break out the pocket book but still need to finish buying some parts for my funny car build. Although it wouldn't hurt to start picking up stuff for a 1/16th scale pro mod build I would like to do one day.
eviltwincustoms
richard, i posted the '69 camaro body on mike hill's new pro mod car built by precision chassis. i'm working with tim at TDR on making a very close replica of that body. i do not know if it will come to fruition yet but, i am hoping it will. there is a ton of work and a lot of money involved with doing this. my game plan is to have the body produced as it would be made in 1:1. all separate pieces. the front end as one piece, each door as a separate item, the rear clip and roof, and a separate trunk opening. none of this having to slice and dice your body to make opening doors. it will be a correct pro mod body right from the "git". here's a pic of the car i'm going to try and duplicate. if it all works out. i'm sure TDR will be making it available in different scales. just remember guys......".IF" it all works out. richard, here is the car. Oh man Dave.... you had me at separate pieces! That would be so AWESOME, to not have to chop a car up to get it to open! And you would know right from the beginning everything is going to fit the first time without having to worry about cutting something wrong and going back and filling it back in. I have my fingers and toes crossed in hopes this does come to fruition!
MADD FABRICATOR
Dave, the inquiring mind is now satisfied. That is one wicked looking drag car. As you well know I am very familiar with the " IF we can pull it off thing". I know Tim and TDR will do it's best to make it happen. Good luck with the project. CHEERZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And ALL digits are crossed here too Dave, as even tho I've been to the black hole and back during my building process of such a modified body, I WILL still GLADLY part with a wad of green stuff for one o' these badboys. Here's wishing you best of Aussie luck in the endeavour mate.. (two thumbs up)
