Danno Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 I just might make it to this one. I planned on coming down in November, but have to go somewhere else instead (family commitment). I'll check with the war department and chime in later tonight. Can I bring a build or two? G This will be right up your alley, Wayne! Not only car stuff, but armor, too! Not a show, but you can bring a build to show off, if you'd like. And, a local hobby shop is having a sale from 9am to 2pm not far from the swap meet; we can get you dialled in! If you get a chance to run down here, we'll see you Saturday!!! Be careful on 'Killer 93' . . .

More "desirable" and/or more rare kits go for more, but you can get a lot of great bargains. Plus, some of the vendors sell built-ups for $5 - $40, depending ... and some of the vendors sell "bag kits" for $3 - $5.

Agent G Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Oh heck yeah. We'll be leaving at 0330 or so, making the trek fueled by coffee. Now that the bridge over the Colorado river is finished, the commute is shortened by at least an hour. I'll be the chubby cranky guy with the bubbly blonde wife. G Edited October 7, 2011 by Agent G
Uncle Keith Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I'll be there. I've never been to one of these events before. Anything I should know? tuffone20 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Hey, Martay! Are you going to be at the swap meet tomorrow? PS: I like what you did with the website's September contest page! Good job. I'm planning on coming by for a little while. Not sure what time yet as I'm waiting to hear from a contractor to tell me when he is coming by on Saturday to give me a price on a patio roof and making my driveway bigger. Thanks and the rest of that page should be up later today. So be sure to check it.
Mike Kucaba Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Oh Tay . I'll be there too. I'll have four or five large boxes of models.<G>
