Patrick2005 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I occasionally find myself dreaming of what cars I'd most want if I ever became able to afford them. So I thought maybe that would be a cool topic idea to post here. What cars would be your first 3? Mine would probably have to be a '69 Yenko Camaro, '87 Buick GNX and a '99 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34
jeffs396 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 1972 Pantera, 1968 Impala fastback, and a 2012 Corvette ZR-1
Rob Hall Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 2006 Ford GT, 2012 Mustang Boss 302, 2012 Camaro ZL1.

Dr. Cranky Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I'd love to have one in a little town in an old building. Lots of rust around.
highway Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Here are just a few of mine: 1969 Trans Am 400 1969 Trans Am 400 convertible, I think I read once only 6 were made in Trans Am trim 1977 Trans Am 400 "Bandit" 1979 Trans Am 403 10th Anniversary Edition 1989 Trans Am 3.8 Liter 20th Anniversary Indy Pace Car Edition If you couldn't tell, I have a little thing for Pontiac F-Bodies!! Since I also love trucks, I'd buy a brand new Freightliner Coronado and a 53 foot Featherlite trailer to haul the toys around in!
Darin Bastedo Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 My Dream garage would depend on the size of the bankroll, so let's assume I filthy stinkin' rich, like Richard Branson rich... I'd have to have a Siata 208 S... A 289 Cobra, CSX2521 to be specific... A 427 Cobra preferably CSX3111... Gotta have a Lamborghini Muira... A ferrari Lusso would be nice too. to be continued...
trogdor Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 1954 Buick Wildcat II , GT40 MK 1 , and a 67 camaro RS

SuperStockAndy Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 1. 1969 Yenko Camaro 2. 1969 COPO Camaro 3. 1970 Camaro Baldwin Motion Phase III (second gen Camaros are some of the most unappreciated IMO) 4. Shelby Cobra 427 5. Shelby GT350R Plenty more, but I'd bore all of you if I listed them all.
XJ6 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 My Dream Garage is..... Jay Leno's Garage.. Mine Too....
JamesW Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 72 Cutlass (base and 442) 70 Chevelle 61 and 62 Impala convertible 05 GTO 09 Challenger SRT8 2011 Charger RT I know there's more, but these are at the top of my list.
charlie8575 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Hmmm.... I don't know if I could find a parcel big enough to build it on. Well... 15-20 brass era cars. At least one each Auburn/Cord/Duesenburg. A Baker or Columbia electric car A Stanley Steamer A Locomobile An Essex Boattail Speedster A Lincoln Zephyr A Studebaker Coupe Express A wide sampling of smaller independent makes from the Pre-War era. At least dozen woodies, mostly GM and Chrysler, with a Hudson and a Packard, too. A good selection of Step-Down Hudsons Some 1950s Pontiacs At least one Imperial from 1957-'66. A Kaiser Darrin A sampling of 1960s full-size cars One each of the 1959-61 compacts, preferably wagons, plus a Valiant 4-door sedan. A 1966 Olds Tornoado A 1963-65 Buick Riviera Some 1970s luxo-cruisers A nice 1981-88 Cutlass Supreme LT-1 powered Roadmaster/Caprice wagon A new Silverado for when I need a truck And a 2011 Lincoln Town Car for my daily driver. Trust me, there's more....much more. Charlie Larkin
2000-cvpi Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 1966 Ford Fairlane 427, 1936 Ford five window coupe, 2003 Mercury Marauder in deep blue Pearl (only 327 made in that color).
2000-cvpi Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 this My eyes hurt after looking at that poor Lincoln. Is that a photoshop? It has to be, the cost to make it into an convertible, make it a two door and shorten the wheelbase would cost a fortune.
Ben Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 (edited) My dream garage would consist of my 69 Camaro (out there right now) and a Buick GNX, A Syclone pickup and a Victory red S10 Xtreme. I would say a Lamborghini Countach but being 6'6" tall, I don't think I'd fit! I had to get down on my knees to get into a Pantera! Edited October 9, 2011 by Ben
Aaronw Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Assuming I could keep my current practical daily drivers, I'm pretty simple so... a 1930s convertable, Packard, Duesenberg or Auburn Boat tail a 1941 Chevrolet pickup and an open cab Seagrave Anniversary Series fire engine
Darin Bastedo Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 My Dream Garage part two... It would have to include my dream car for family trips...a Tatra T-87 I would need a Front Engine Dragster for nostagia drag events...the 1964 Tognotti Speed Shop Top Fuel Dragster would do just fine... I would love to show up to our friday night cruise in this...Jerry pennington's "Scorpion" rear engined 'Vette The original is long gone so I would have to settle for the clone of The Sam Hollingsworth Nomad... Next time GM is hard up for cash, I'd offer them big money for the Stingray racer... To be continued...
