outlaw105
I have to agree the hat looks a little too big.
thumper86
See heres the problem and the hat may help lol. The 1/1 car had 10" takin out of the center of the whole body,so maybe if I work it a bit it will give the same look as the 1/1 ??? lol

thumper86
Ok so if you look at these pics of the car and then in the minds eye fit a fontana hemi with a Psi blower on it thats what I'm thinking lol. because there was no way I was takin 10 scale inches out of this thing with all the other body work I had to do . thumper86
So I figured ok it does look huge in this thing so If I carve it down a bit (hat & blower) then it would have the same look as the 1/1?
thumper86
Ok so after really quick cutting on this thing here's what I got . I think if I cut and contour the sides of the hat it mite bring it around a bit more.

comp1839
if you have a caliper. you can measure the area of the butterflies. on a hat like that typically it's in the area 74 sq.in of opening. it's your best clue as to whether that thing is even close to scale or not. thumper86
Thanks yeap shes a lawn mower alright lol. its crazy low and level for once but problem is wheely bar angle coming from the mounts, they pretty much have to come out flat out the back lol.The fronts are possable and it will be a rolling car just have to make a couple things first .
