Sam Cates Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Man those things are cool, where did you get them? I want to get my hands on a few for my garage dio. Excellent work!
Joker Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 A fellow member of the Richmond Automotive Society (RAMS) hooked me up. The purple one is a bonus kit in the Baja Beast and the 2tone is from an Ertl 4x4 Ford truck The Destroyer.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I like them. They'd make great little elements in a diorama or a smaller scene.
mazlak Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 James, I can't wait to see what you do with those dirt bikes you got from me the other day. Some sort of bobber or cafe creation....mmmm? Rick in Richmond
krazyglu Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Im loving these itty bitty bikes your doing. The amount of detail your putting in these and how your club buddies keep donating stuff to you is great thats what its all about.
Austin T Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Man this is eye candy to me,I own a real Honda trail 70 and love it.I have been searching ebay ruthlessly for one,I wish I had club buddies like yours.
Erik Smith Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 That turned out really great. Nice work. I bet it's fun having such a little project! I like both bikes - thanks for putting up the pictures.
Chuck Most Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 My only gripe- you listed it as 1:24 but it's really 1:25. Really, must say I love 'em. I've got a couple of these stashed, I can only hope they turn out as nice.

von Zipper Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Now that's some real eye candy right there !!!!!
von Zipper Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 James, you got me motivated to build a couple of these mini bikes, your's came out great !!! so I took the measurements from a 1;1 Honda CT70 and converted it to 1/25 scale. Then took the 1/24 scale Z50 from the Baja Beast to make this.......I guess it's a 1/24 and a half scale ?
