bill_rules Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I just stand and read at the LHS magazine rack until they run me off. It takes a few trips, but by the end of the month I've read about everything they carry.

Ramfins59 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I only have 2 magazine subscriptions right now... Model Cars and Scale Auto.. I've had SA since the early 90's and Model Cars since waaaaay back at the end of when it was Plastic Fanatic. I used to subscribe to Custom Rodder and Street Rodder but they both just turned me off because in comparison to the car pictures and features they became more of just advertisement catalogs. When I wound up at a well stocked magazine rack, or at Barnes & Noble I would drop a BIG chunk of $$$ picking up Kar Kulture Deluxe, Ol' Skool Rods, Hot Rod Deluxe, Hemmings Classic Car, Collectable Auto and sometimes Lowrider... I'd then go home and sit for hours reading all of them and cutting out pictures of cars that turned me on for ideas to build models of them. Then after reading them all, I'd kick myself for spending (wasting..??) such a huge wad of cash for a bunch of magazines that really didn't do anything for me in the long run.
cruz Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Would love to have MCM in digital form specially because I purchased a Nook Color and I am able to buy Scale Auto and Fine Scale magazine. I also have Car Craft and a few other subscriptions through my Nook. Best thing? I can carry thousands of magazines anywhere I go.
Harry P. Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Would love to have MCM in digital form... We're working on it.
