Chad Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 looks beastly....you need an alignment though . it's comin along quite nicely. Chad
Dodge BigHorn Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Well, I'm back at it again, repainted the cab in black. Not really happy with it though. Still going to use the headache rack but not the winch. Installed a Cummins NTD 350 I scored unbuilt off Evilbay awhile back. As soon as my camera shows up fom being MIA, I'll get some pics up of the progress
Mopar - D Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Rob, glad to see you back working on the Big Horn again. Are you going to leave the custom quad head lights ? I changed mine out using the Titan lights they are as close as I could get to like the original ones.
Bennyg Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Cool project. Unusual trucks are the best to model. Ben
Dodge BigHorn Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Dan, I think I'm going to leave the quads in as they give it a different look. Kinda reminds me of the 79 Newport my parents had when I was a kid. I'd love to see some pics of your Bighorn. I've got to figure out a color for the frame and running gears.
Mopar - D Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Rob, I've got it posted here in big rigs under glass. It just moved to page 2.
Mopar - D Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Rob, I also did a WIP on my Big Horn here is the link http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75499 And the finished link http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75925
Dodge BigHorn Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 Well I got my camera back but can't seem to get my files to load. Gonna try something here and see if it works.
blazefox Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Big and bad as all he11 looks really awesome
mackinac359 Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Of all of the Big Horn resin conversions, the Illini version is/was the best of the bunch. I used the AMT Diamond Reo chassis for mine. Tim
Mopar - D Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Rob your progress is looking good. I'm using the same rear single tires on my LoneStar.
Kostas Parchas Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 What a work horse??? Keep it coming. Kostas.
