Monty,

If you need an exact match, either have a local paint store mix up a batch or contact MCW automotive finishes. They have it under their part number 7002 and sell it in 3/4 oz and 2 oz bottles. I have an old price list but you can go online to www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com to get current pricing and ordering information.

Hey Monte the color you seek was also known as Corvette LeMans blue if that helps you any. They changed the name in 1970, I believe, because BMW had the rights to that name.

I had a 71 Rally Nova that was Mulsanne Blue. To answer your question, True Blue pearl would be very close in the Testor line, and HOK. Tamiya would be ts 50 mica blue. At least these would be close to the blue of my Nova. The Lemans blue i'm familiar with would be a slightly lighter shade of blue. I also have purchased lots of the mcw color for mulsanne and it is dead on.

Good to know! I wasn't aware of that. Thanks!

When I'm tracking down 1:1 car colors, I like this site: http://paintref.com/paintref/index.shtml

Excellent! I know I have the Boyd's True Blue. I'll dig around and see if I have the TS-50.
