rhs856
I'm going to be building a supply trading truck for the Zombie/Apocalypse build, and will need to scratch build most of the "supplies." Can anyone think of a site/forum where there are how-to pages or tutorials? A place where I can see a ton of examples to get my creative juices flowing? I've tried google, but this is one of those things where I don't know what I have to put in to get what I want. I end up with a ton of pages on scratch building a real gas generator instead! Dr. Cranky
Randall, check this thread out: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=53570 Also, it's a fabulous idea you've posted this thread so that folks can feel free to add some links to valuable scratch-building resources: Here, I'll start by adding a couple of must-have places: http://www.evergreenscalemodels.com/ and http://www.plastruct.com/

rhs856
Thanks, Doc, but I'm looking for more of a collection of how-tos or a forum dedicated to scratch building.
shucky
Oooooh Dr. Cranky I love that link to the mesh website. Awesome and thanks!
Erik Smith
That mesh link is really cool. Click on continue and you get a macro lens shot of he actual mesh. Only problem is $75 minimum order, and 8 square foot minimum. That's a lot, no, a lifetime of mesh!
Steve Keck
Don't get discouraged looking at these builds. Remember they are just small parts piled on top of each other. http://www.miniwerks...890&whichpage=1 http://www.automotiv...ad.php?t=941279
