bigphoto Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Here are some pics of my soon to be Boss. I am converting an old AMT 1/43 Mustang to a Boss 302 Trans Am racer piloted by Peter Revson mods include dropping the ride height adding a chin spoiler which actually is a rear deck spoiler that came from a Modifiers 2000 or so Mustang, wheels are from Tron, tires are from scrap box decals that are going to be used are from Patto's Place and are fantastic! Also have to fill in shoulder scoops as Boss cars did not have them.
bigphoto Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 Thanks, Got most of the roll cage done will post more tomorrow!

Dan Helferich Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Incredible work as usual Tim! I wish my eyes were better for when I see it in person. Maybe I'll start bringing my magnavisor to the meetings.
bigphoto Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 More pics tomorrow! It is a slooooowwww process for me!
torinobradley Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I'm liking this, a lot! That car sits just right! I thought about doing this to my little AMT 1/43rds. I was looking for the Tron wheels and can't seem to find them offered individually. Do you have a sorce? The Plato's Place has hundreds of decals, many of which I would like for future projects. And, in whatever scale you need! Great source!

There is a place in Austrailia that handles the wheels http://www.automodel...ssories/wheels/ Also a place in Holland has them. The guys on a 1/43 forum I belong to said he is a good guy to deal with. http://www.deroosautominiaturen.com/wiel43.htm Edited September 11, 2012 by bigphoto
