Mister Twister Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) I'm well into this build but there is still plenty to do. I'm only opening one door as I've done a couple others like this in the past just so the paint scheme is not totally broken up on both sides. I haven't decided on a display as of yet. More soon and thanks for looking in! Edited May 14, 2012 by Mister Twister

W-409 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 It looks very good so far, interesting to see how it comes together, since your builds are always spectacular. Where are those front wheels from? I've seen some FC wheels like that on ModelExpress, but I'm not sure about their scale or how big they really are.

Niko the wheels are from Pegasus and the tires are From a Revell pro stock kit. The tire lettering decals are from Slixx. Thanks
Dragracer Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Darryl, I was just looking thru the pics again & I noticed something I didn't really pay much attention to the first time, it has to do with the fuel cell, is (was) that one of the computer boxes out of one of the Revell Funny Car models?
stump Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Darryl, shaping up as another winner I'd say mate. Your builds (and the amazing detail you squeeze in) are a joy to see unfold.
Mister Twister Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 I managed to do some work on this one finally and got some detail work done to the interior and some paint and graphics in place. Its ready for clear and a little more detail work. More soon.
Dragracer Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 The chassis/engine detail looks great Darryl, like the paint job too!
1320wayne Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Pictures look great. I got to see this one up close just this afternoon and it's even better in person.
