I've read several positive comments about using ScratchX to polish out a paint job. My practice in the past has been to used graduated series of sanding pads then buffed with wax. But I am always looking for new ideas. What are the thoughts as to what is he best scenario for using ScratchX or should it be used for specific finish problems. Thanks in advance for the ponters.

I want to keep the original as-molded body color on a Mercedes kit, but it had a few minor scuffs and a couple of scratches. Scratch-X fixed it in nothing flat, and resulted in a realistic finish.

I gave up on the multitude of sanding pads, etc. 3 rubbings of scratch x and you'll have a mirror finish. Its fabulous stuff.

Doe's it work good on enamel without messing it up?

As long as the paint is fully cured, you shouldn't have any trouble at all. I've used ScratchX on just about every type of paint and it has never let me down.
