That looks cool. These '63-'67 Corvettes are very popular in ProMod, I mean in 1:1 scale, but I haven't seen many of them in smaller scales. I hope after this comes out, there will be more this Generation Corvette ProMods coming.

3D

Not going to speculate too much as it's too early............................

I have started taking very early steps at looking into the feasibility and merit of such a venture....I personally would LOVE to see the attention to detail available with 3D, thrown into a truly

accurate body of a current 63-67 ProMod Vette, (even a 71 Duster...??) as with what Dave did for us with the 69 Camaro which is gorgeous... B)

This post is not intended to raise peoples hopes, more of an indication of what may come to fruition, all cards falling as they should.

IF someone has similar ideas, and get in before me, that's how it goes........I'll still buy one. :D

Despite the cost of 3D, I do believe it is a major player in our future, as far as accurate items from the aftermarket go.

Resin will never disappear, but 3D at least offers a few alternatives to us guys, and we all know, IF we want something bad enough, we save up for it. :D

And the BEST part, most things can be done in a variety of scales.

As I said, do NOT raise hopes too high.....it is only very early. If I can't make things happen as desired, it will fall apart.

I am a dreamer, but this idea I would love to see happen.

My apologies Rom for the deviation. :)

It does look like a nice car, but without having it in hand it looks to be a bit out of whack for today's 63 Corvette's that are running. The front nose looks spot on and the rear end looks good as well, I just struggle with the doors and the A-pillar's they look like they are still the original length and angle.

Now GREGG.... If you come up with the MOOLAH... to do a 3D venture to do the 63 Vette and or a Duster, I would be all over those bodies in a heart beat! I would have to let mine set and even the 69 Camaro continue to set in the box, because I would want to build one of these instead... LOL

LOL  Thanks Bart. Hey, this would almost give us the ultimate line-up, don't you think....?

Knowing what I have learned regarding production costs involve (yes, it ain't cheap, but not over exorbitant either...)my mind has been running a muck....:blink:

So many possibilities it's scary....I need to talk to my finance broker.............

Heres the thing with resin bodys Bart they are just to get you in the ball park. A resin body always needs some sort of work and with that said they are not for the average modeller. With a small amount of work the a pillars can be fixed to your liking. The key is you have the basic shape so what one makes out of it is really up to them. B) I think it outstanding that Terry goes to great lentghs to bring us what on one eles will.
