Dominik Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Hi everybody, today i want to present you one of my "hot" finished work for our contest of my german forum this weekend. If you ask: 4-Door-Station?!? Thats right! I bought in November last year a stationwagonbody at ebay.com. I think, the caster is Jimmy Flintstone. Not sure, please correct, if i am wrong: For the first fitting, i build the base with engine... ...and took a look on it: It fixed P E R F E C T ! Great job to the caster! The only thing i didn't like was the pillars, so i cut them out, build some new, scribbed the door lines new to get a 4-Door Stationwagon: It looks better to me. Next step, after the whole work on the body was done, i made new sidepanels for the interieur,... ...some work on the seats, mounted them and completed it: An overallview, fixed with tape: That was the work of four month. Similar to another project i finished this week. Stay tuned for the result.
Dominik Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 Now, here is the result. Have fun with the first pictures: Next, to give him the right theme, i made a surfboard: To transport it, he became a roofrack and a hitch for an upcoming trailer (futurebuild).
rmvw guy Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) That's some neat work! Congratulations. Second set of pictures are even better, WOW! That is awesome!!! Edited May 23, 2012 by rmvw guy

Dominik Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 ... Thats it - i like the fresh colors and the overall look. Thank you for attention. If you think about this body, you can take him. It fied perfect (i wrote, i knew) and working with it was very easy.

bsoder Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 WOW...Beautiful job man, my first thought was how coool an airstream would look behind it and since you mention a trailer in the future I'll keep an eye out... B)
my80malibu Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Excellent work Dominik I hope your trailer choice is something like the a teardrop or maybe an Airstream
