1980 MUSTANG HYBRID COBRA-SALEEN

I start a new proyect i will join 2 kits a 1980 mustang cobra turbo and a Saleen Mustang s281 Speedster. a will use the Saleen´s chassis and the body´s 80´mustang. with some other changes to give it the personal touch

This is a really cool project. In fact, as I know is a common practice swap the fox stile suspension in favor of the S281 for a better handling.

Very interesting. I'm surprised it's taken this long for someone else to make one of these.

With the right sanding and filing you can make the chassis fit like it was made for this kit.

As one that's done this project... I'll tell, you it's much easier to just use the Saleen engine compartment, though.

I'll be watching...

Edit: By the way check your wheel bases carefully I think the Saleen chassis needs to be shortened by 1-2 mm... IF I remember correctly.

i modified only the turbo´s position for a perfect fit under the hood...

some new pics.....custom interior, i made some new parts for the interior some decals from other kit and a lot of cut and sandpaper, i cut some parts from the other kit (saleen)
