mountaindewd Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Are the Revell "Saints" Henry J(black) and the Revell "Lil Puffer" Henry J(pink) one and the same?
Jantrix Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yeah, to my knowledge that kit has changed very little (if at all) through all of it's releases. It will test you as a builder, I promise you that.
Casey Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yes, the decals, plastic color and maybe the wheels and tires are what changed between various issues.
my80malibu Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yeah, to my knowledge that kit has changed very little (if at all) through all of it's releases. It will test you as a builder, I promise you that. No "truer" Words have been spoken that one can be a real nightmare.
Jantrix Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Why is the model so hard. I've been wanting one. Extremely poor part fitment over the entire kit. The only model that I ever reduced to a spray of styrene shards (as an adult) with a very heavy blunt object, was this kit. I was still finding parts/pieces of it years later all over the room.
Qwit Pushin Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Take your time and it can be a great kit, but patience is the key.
Jantrix Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Mike is of course correct, however his photos do point out the hood and door fitment issues. That does look real good Mike, well done.
mountaindewd Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Thanks for the replies, y'all! I expected it to be poor quality. ....and a lot of flash? I've had kits from Revell back then that were similar. '56 F100(doors) comes to mind.
