chris_thobe Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Got the deuce all finished finally. Not perfect but I think it turned out pretty good. Hit the switches!
Cool Hand Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Awesome! The chassis is very impressive and all the other detail work make this build stand out for sure
Devil1 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Great job. Lots of extras and DETAIL DETAIL! But you you didn't go too far, that's the key, really nice job!
fatkidd Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I really like the panel work. And that you carried it out on the chassis is superb! Great job, sir
crazyjim Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I'm not a lowrider person. I can only imagine the time you put in masking/painting this gorgeous build.
Terry Sumner Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I too have no use for lowriders...but MAN!...that paint job you did is awesome! Wow......
slusher Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 That is some real detail on your build, very impressive work..
MichaelJ Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 THAT BAD BOY IS OFF THE HOOK!!!!! DUDE!!!!! Michaelj...
geetee66 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Outstanding! I think the paint pattern looks a bit Art Deco..which looks very crisp. The chassis/floor pan as well....and the engine..nothing left untouched! I hope you're pleased with it. You should be!
chris_thobe Posted August 3, 2012 Author Posted August 3, 2012 Thanks everyone.. This one was a lot of firsts for me.. First time doing a full panel paint job, and first time doing a felt "TINGOS" style interior. I am happy with how it turned out, and I am happy you all like it.. I know lowriders are not at a lot of peoples lists of favorites, but I have been hooked since I was a kid on the kandy paint schemes, hydraulics, and the large amount of chrome makes it rolling art for me! I love all customs though, got a 52 Chevy rat rod sitting in the garage.. It is a WIP though
H.A.K Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Holly moky's thats one bad lookin car there budd. SWEET.
moparmagiclives Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 As everyone else has stated, great paint work. My favorite detail is the "butterfly" a arms. Love that look they give when it's locked up !
LAone Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 That's wild, very impressive paint job. Dig that the interior and chassis follow the patterns.
Renegade Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Off the wall paint and chrome. A fantastic build with great attention to detail.
streetmachine11 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 i gotta say the the detail and paintwork is amazing. its hard enough doing this work on a 1:1 and you did it in scale! great job man i can really appreciate the time and effort that went into this build. jason
